2025-26 SkySquad

SkySquad is a student-led restorative justice and peer mentorship program with 22 SkySquad members. Their focus is on helping build a healthier, more inclusive school climate. They facilitate restorative justice practices such as peer mediation, restorative circles, and reflection. Sky Squad students mentor new students and freshmen, especially those identified as needing extra academic, social or emotional support and provide ongoing support throughout the year helping others to transition successfully to Skyline High School. 

Benefits: 

1. Develop leadership, communication and mentoring skills, encourages accountability, empathy and conflict resolution skills. 

2. Supports new and incoming 9th grade students transition to high school with guidance and mentorship, reducing feeling of isolation and engagement. 

3. Strengthens overall school climate and connectedness, reduces suspensions and conflicts, improves academic engagement and attendance.
